Meredith Willson's The Music Man Lexington reviews
Willie Nelson was terrific
We had a great time seeing Meredith Willson's The Music Man. I thought the music was good beginning with the opening act of Asleep at the Wheel. His sister was amazing on the piano. It seemed to me the video person and lighting person may have been new because it didn't keep up with what was happening. My husband and I had never been to the Civic before so that was interesting too. The people working at The Civic that night were super - very helpful and friendly. Meredith Willson's The Music Man of course was the headliner we all came to see and you could tell he was enjoying himself too. His sister was amazing on the piano. I was so happy to see the years hadn't changed that part at all. They may not have known what was coming up or who was going to do what. He sang and played that guitar like I couldn't believe. Meredith Willson's The Music Man is a star and I thought he deserved a bit more attention to detail about those things. We had a great time.
